We only collect the personal data that you submit via our contact forms. With regards to our basic enquiry form we collect the following information that you input:

  • Date of Birth (membership form only)

This information is collected so we can provide any enquiry-based service to you and to be able to respond to you.

With regards to our reporting forms we collect the following information that you input:

  • Date
  • Time
  • Location (latitude & longitude based on you selection on the interactive map)
  • Data relating to your findings
  • Any images uploaded
  • Email address

This information is collected so we can produce a spreadsheet of user submitted reports and sightings.

Contact forms

We use contact forms to receive your enquiries as well as to collect the data you have submitted via the reporting forms on this website. We only collect the data that you freely submit via these forms and all information is kept confidential and behind password protection.

Cookies

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
